Canon Imprints & Regains

Canon Imprints & Regains Influence Costs Canon Imprints Regains
An imprint is any change made to the world caused by a character's influence. Anything that's been brought into existence within the world is considered an imprint, whether it's something pulled from a canon world or developed naturally through interactions with the setting and other characters.

As imprints are formed by a character's understanding and knowledge, they are not formed by conscious choice on their part. This enables players to implement elements of their character's world that, if given the choice, the character would not choose themselves.

For detailed information on what imprints are, the different categories of imprints, regains, and so on, please see the section for Influence & Imprints on the FAQ.

Canon Imprints and Regains must be purchased by individual players using this page and the influence system. Organic Imprints are decided on solely by the mod team, but players may suggest threads for consideration through the separate Organic Imprints page.

For information on imprints that are already in effect within the setting, please see the Locations, Bestiary and State Of The World pages.

▲▼▲▼▲▼▲▼▲

Influence Costs
To request a regain or canon imprint for the setting, your character must pay the associated cost in influence. Influence is measured and tracked through Activity Checks. For more information on gaining influence, please see the Activity Check page.

Influence cannot be shared or transferred between characters, and influence costs must be paid for in full by the character submitting the imprint.

To keep things relatively simple, all regains will be categorized as either small (can be picked up and carried comfortably by the average person), medium (too big to carry comfortably, but no bigger than a car) or large (anything car-sized or bigger). We may choose to reject a regain request if we feel the regain is large enough that it would be better suited as a canon imprint, such as scenery.

Imprint Type Influence
Regain (small) -10
Regain (medium) -15
Regain (large) -20
Scenery, Species or Object -25
Concept -40

▲▼▲▼▲▼▲▼▲

Canon Imprints
You may only request up to one canon imprint per month. This includes the imprint submitted with your application. You cannot retroactively request an imprint for a previous month, even if you had enough influence at the time to afford it. If we need to reject an imprint request for any reason, you may still submit a different imprint for that month.

Canon imprints should be directly inspired by your character's canon world, as the name implies. While this form may also be used to request more general imprints to expand the setting with, we recommend exploring these ideas as potential Organic Imprints first. We may also choose to decline more generic imprint submissions if we already have plans for that particular concept.

To submit a canon imprint for approval, please comment on this page using the form in the textarea below.
Player: Your name.
Character: Your character's name.
Canon: Your character's canon.

Imprint Type: Scenery, Species, Object, or Concept.
Influence: Provide a link to your thread on the Activity Check page to show you have enough influence to pay for this imprint.

Summary: Describe your imprint in one simple sentence that doesn't rely on canon terms, ex. "a large library filled with many books", "carbuncles, a species of small fox-like animals with gems on their foreheads", or "dead people go to an afterlife". Please try to avoid one-word answers, even if your imprint is something that exists in the real world.

Full Details: This description must be 500 words or less. Please explain the nature of your imprint in detail, assuming the reader is unfamiliar with your canon. Not all details of an imprint may be used, but we recommend focusing on the details you would most like to be included. This section should be in your own words.

For scenery, species and objects, this section should strictly be about how the imprint is supposed to work, so do not include details on how it would go "wrong" or interact with other imprints and keep headcanon to a minimum.

For concepts specifically, it is more important to get across what you intend to accomplish with the concept than the exact details of how it works. For example, if you wanted to create a version of the Internet within the setting it would be better to focus on the idea of long-distance communication than explain how wireless signals between electronic devices work.

Additional Links: (Optional) If you have any additional wiki pages or images to help explain your imprint, you may leave them here. For non-concepts, we would prefer at least one image for reference whenever possible.

Other: (Optional) You may offer suggestions how this imprint may be implemented or blended with other imprints here, or any other comments you feel are important. Please try to keep this section brief.

Regains
To request a regain, please fill out the form in the textarea below. Regains do not count towards your monthly imprint limit.

Once a regain has been approved the regained object or creature may be found by the character at any time, in whatever way the player desires.
Player: Your name.
Character: Your character's name.
Canon: Your character's canon.

Regain Size: Small, Medium or Large.
Influence: Provide a link to your thread on the Activity Check page to show you have enough influence to pay for this imprint.

Description: Please describe what your character is regaining in detail, including any special abilities the object or creature is capable of. Abilities must be included even if they are currently unsupported by the setting.

Additional Links: (Optional) If you have any additional wiki pages or images to help explain your regain, you may leave them here.

Other: (Optional) You may put any additional information or questions regarding your regain here.

Description: A poker chip case containing 120 coins and 2 decks of cards. The front of the case sports Bowser's emblem, which is an outline of his face. The back shows the symbol of a company called "Luigi's Casino," a silhoette of a man named Luigi's face in profile view with a bow tie, surrounded by a ring with 12 stars.

Each coin is gold in color, with a distinct heads and tails side. The "heads" side, has Bowser's emblem, while the "tails" side depicts a castle.

One of the decks is a standard deck of playing cards. It could be recognized. This deck's box is marked with a spade symbol. The second deck is marked with Bowser's emblem, and contains cards related to symbols specific to Bowser's world.

Standard Deck of Cards: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_52-card_deck
Mario-based Deck of Cards: https://www.mariowiki.com/Pair-a-Gone#Cards

Other: The existence of these decks of cards and their relation to a casino run by Luigi is canon. However, to my knowledge, the coins described are not actual Koopa Kingdom currency, nor do they exist in any form in canon. The idea that Bowser owns such a case if such a case has even been made, and the existence of these coins, are based solely in headcanon. If this means that the regain must be modified or rejected, I understand and will oblige.

Summary: The main square of a large, futuristic metropolis, heavily reminiscent of the real-world city of London in the United Kingdom.

Full Details: Wyndon is the capital of the Galar region and its largest city, heavily based on the city of London in its landmarks and cultural, political, and economic importance. It is surrounded by a large, somewhat fortified wall to protect it from the harsh, snowy climate of Route 10 to the south, but past said wall lies a vast metropolis. This metropolis, however, is WAY too big to imprint in one piece, so I’m only submitting one small part of it.

Wyndon’s main pedestrian rotunda is a common meeting place for tourists and locals alike, thanks to its large iconic fountain with statues depicting the Corviknight evolutionary family. To the immediate north is a Pokemon Center (a hospital of sorts where Trainers can have their Pokemon’s wounds healed for free, stock up on supplies, and grab some refreshments) and a large train station, which is linked to Wyndon’s local above-ground monorail and Galar’s regional transit railway.

The train station has large screens showing arrivals/departure times of both train lines, a cafe with patron seating, vending machines for various snacks and soft drinks, and brochure stands with tourist paraphernalia advertising Wyndon’s attractions and the Galar region as a whole.

Additional Links:
The outer wall ( 1 )
Pedestrian rotunda ( 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 )
Pokemon Center ( 1 / 2 )
Train Station ( 1 / 2 / 3 )

Other: My original idea was to imprint all of Wyndon, but as I was writing I realized that all of the locations in Wyndon could technically be fully-fleshed imprints of their own. While I’ve cut it down to what is essentially the “entrance” to the city, I understand if even this is too much! I’ll gladly pair it down to just one main locale if that’s more suitable.

Summary: A large multi-building school with facilities centered on the performing arts, though there are other additional focuses that would be expected from a regular campus.

Full Details: A prestigious academy consisting of a multi-building campus. There are four “main” buildings, listed counterclockwise from the main gate of the school: the main classroom building, an auditorium, the Garden Terrace, and a gymnasium with additional sports areas.

The campus itself is fenced off and surrounded by greenery -- the only point of entry is the school gate located on the lower right area of the campus. The nameplate to the right of the gate reads “Yumenosaki Private Academy”. The main classroom building is closest to the gate on the right when making one’s way straight into campus. Consisting of two separate buildings connected by a multi-level walkway, the entirety of the facility itself is H-shaped with a courtyard area on the ground-level in front of the walkway containing a fountain. Upon entry into the building, students and visitors are met with the main locker area. The rest of the building is full of fully-equipped rooms of various functions, such as: regular lecture halls, music rooms containing instruments, practice studios (for singing/dancing, soundproof and not), a Library, AV Room, Broadcasting Room, and a Student Council Room. The rooftops of both buildings are accessible and fully landscaped, with greenery surrounding benches for seating.

Right across from the classroom building is the Auditorium, which is… just an auditorium. It’s definitely larger than one would expect from a Regular School, for obvious reasons, but it’s basically just a stage and rows and rows of seats. Behind the auditorium building are tennis courts and a basketball court, adjacent to each other.

Walking further into the campus will get you into the Garden area, which is located to the left to the classroom building. The garden area contains a main walkway surrounded by shrubbery and roses, leading into the open “Garden Terrace” area for those that wish to sit and snack amidst the roses and flowers. The Garden Terrace also contains a professional-style kitchen.

Straight ahead past the garden is the Gymnasium, which… is just a regular old gym. An open field sits to the right of the gym (it’s literally just called “Ground” in the location pages i hate it), and animal pens (mainly for rabbits) sit to the left. A dojo and archery range are also a feature in this general area. Somewhere near the open field is a large cenotaph, honoring previous, deceased students of the school.

Additional Links:

Campus Overview

Main Classroom Building

Gym/Grower Barns
Archery Ground

Other images for reference are located here, under the Ensemble Stars! (second one, not Ensemble Stars!! since that's... it's different,) tab! I’d just take up to the Grower Barn image as references for the school, as all the rest are like… Event instances or images not related to the school...

Other: I’m so sorry his school is so Extra, i know it’s a lot. But my main focuses in this imprint are the instruments (piano, piano please…) in the music rooms and the practice studios, plus the archery hall, since those are closest to Leo’s character. Also the cenotaph, if possible! If there’s more clarification needed/things need to be cut out, I fully understand…... i hated writing this and im sure you’re like “oh god” reading it.

Thank you mods!

Summary: Tsukumogami are old tools, instruments or usable objects of sufficient age to have had their spirits awoken, who have then been ignored and become irritated at others for no longer using them.

Full Details:
The wiki link above gives a good basic idea, but a Tsukumogami is basically any tool, musical instrument or usable item that has survived for 100 years, long enough to attain a soul of its own. Having become valued enough to have a soul, if the tool is then ignored or left behind, it becomes wrathful and annoyed at the humans who no longer use it. So, it seeks to play pranks on them, to get their attention, or in rarer cases bands together with other tsukumogami to get revenge against someone who has wronged it. They're not the brightest of youkai, and tend to be single-mindedly focused on getting used and treated with respect again. Their main skills involve not being noticed by humans as anything other than the tools they are, allowing them to sneak around behind their backs and prank them, scare them or in rare cases set up ambushes to attack.

In Gensokyo, within the Touhou Project universe, for inexplicable reasons, all youkai and spirits take the form of eternally youthful female humanoids who bear visual traits associated with their youkai nature (in this case something associated with their object).

Additional Links:
Here's a couple examples of tsukumogami: A Taiko Drum (who is less vengeful because she's in use regularly)
An umbrella (Who really sucks at trying to scare people by hiding as an umbrella.)

As Parsee puts it. These spirits are pretty minor with rare exceptions, those exceptions (like Hata no Kokoro) being more likely to be appable characters than these minor Tsukumogami.

Other:
Let me know if this is still a workable 'creature' imprint. Based on our conversation, it seems viable, but I don't wan to assume. Obviously, this applies more to 'minor' tsukumogami. Ones with detailed personalities and ample lines in the games like Hata no Kokoro would be appable on their own as opposed to this sort of being.

Description: Izuku's Thunderbird Mount from Fellden, Toshi. Thunderbirds have an affinity with electricity, making them impervious to both lightning/electricity and electricity based magics. They also have the capability to extend this resistance to their rider. While they aren't able to generate electricity on their own, they can absorb and redirect it. Toshi is a sentient creature who has the ability to telepathically communicate if he so chooses (though he tends to be rather quiet).

Additional Links: More detailed info about the species can be found in the imprint section of my application.

Other: Thunderbirds, as described in their original form in Fellden, are quite large. They're "large enough to pluck a whale from the sea", and their size is also shown in the visual reference provided. I understand where this might be too much for the game in terms of scaling, so I'd be perfectly fine with having him be reduced to more Buckbeak size, just to provide an example. I've chosen to have him be submitted as a regain as opposed to a species imprint as originally planned, but if you guys feel like it would be more suited as an imprint due to size however, I understand and would be willing to discuss to work something out with that. Thank you! <3

Full Details: Blurrgs, as they are lovingly named, are large raptor beasts with rounded backs. Despite their appearance they are fast moving, able to traverse across distances for long periods of time while carrying hundreds of pounds. For this reason they are often used as beasts of burden, bred and kept on farms across the galaxy. Some cultures even train them for use in war.

Invincible Moon
Trigger: Limit Break, Crisis Level 3*

Wishing Star
Trigger: Limit Break, Crisis Level 4*
Rinoa jumps on Angelo's back, knocking enemies into space and attacking them eight times. Magical skill.

* A Limit Break in Rinoa's canon is an ability that can be considered to be a desperation attack; it can only be used when a character is in crisis (low in health) or under the effect of the Aura magic spell. The higher the crisis level of the individual (read: the lower their health), the more dangerous the abilities that are available to them.

Summary: Mementos: A dark, twisted version of the Tokyo subway, with running trains and tunnels full of monsters.

Full Details: Mementos is a black-and-red underground series of tunnels that can be accessed most easily from the subway station in Shibuya. A twisted version of the Tokyo subway, it's a maze of wooden train tracks haunted by eerie screams and voices on the wind. Occasionally, a train goes by, leading one deeper and deeper into the depths. Of course, it can be traversed on foot, or even with a car, with escalators on train platforms to enable one to go up or down. Its walls are lined with spidery veins, structures that could be mistaken for bones, and the occasional forgotten-looking graveyard or classroom. Each floor potentionally contains some treasure chests with equipment or valuables.. There are more than 50 floors, and the trains never stop running. Every so often between floors, there's a waiting area that's safe from monsters and looks like a normal subway platform with seats and overhead coverage.

As the manifestation of the collective unconscious, its floors are constantly shifting and changing. One can always get to where they want to go, if they keep looking, but they'll never take the same path twice. Sometimes floors are pitch-dark, other times they're a maze with several dead ends, and still others are a simple straight line from beginning to end.

Mementos is populated by Shadows, both just general random encounters, and the more sophisticated Shadows of other people. It's not generally a safe place to walk around, though its size means that encounters could be avoided through stealth. Its also affected by weather conditions outside: flu season brings despair, freezing temperatures brings the possibility of a frozen enemy, high pollen counts lead to itchy eyes, and heavy rain increases the likelihood of rare enemies and treasure.

In game, the depths of Mementos has the final boss of Persona 5, the false god Yaldabaoth. Who knows what could be in the depths here, if there's even a bottom!

Additional Links: here are some pictures!

Other: I've been working with Ren's, Damien's, and Ann's players with the thought of combining Mementos with Shibuya Station, the Chicago L, and the Underground Mall imprints that they're bringing in! Ideally, we'd like a subway system to enable greater accessibility to different areas. We were imagining something with different stops that might take characters to different key locations to make it a little easier to access areas (like Messiah or Wall Market), but also like, a little cursed. One can take the subway and get there, but is it worth it? kind of thing. Since it's based off the Tokyo subway, we were also thinking it could be neat if like, platforms would just crop up with new locations in the future as well if they're far enough away, since the subway is always expanding

Summary: A subway station and a square, no more than that.

Full Details: If Ren's opinion matters here, he'd say this place is a maze. Upon approaching, one should find the Station Square - a vast space decorated with trees and plants contained by wooden planks, benches adjusting to the circular shape around the greenery. In the vicinity, there is a small, but rather eye-catching lottery with several announcements and yellow signs, all to bring the next player forth. Behind it, there is the Teikyu Building, a part of the station with subway lines that transfer to it.

While it looks like much like the rest of the station, with large advertisements, vending machines, electronic screens displaying schedule, directions and the national news, one can find a delightful bakery named "Yon-Germain Bakery", that serves a delicious melon bread (among others!) that will bring a smile to every commuter that chooses to stop by. The main station can be accessed from the Tenkyu building as well, counting with easy accessibility due to the escalators. Most dear to Ren, though, is the large window with the view to the square and the streets of Shibuya.

The main access of the station is still in the Square, large stairs that can be located easily enough, but in case of uncertainty, there's a green bus that is perpetually parked next to it. Upon descending the stairs and/or escalator, one will find a clean and organized station. Information regarding the station and the lines are not challenging to find – large, round stickers on the floor indicating direction, as well as maps and precise signs on the walls and pillars. The walls that are bear display a three-color square pattern, when not decorated with the previously mentioned advertisements and screens.

Around the walkway, small stands with job opportunity flyers can be found, providing one with requirement of each job, pay and location they can be found at. As for stores, there is a small kiosk with magazines, packaged snacks, newspapers, as well as simple medicine. The ticket machines are adjacent to it. There is also a juice store, providing healthy choices to their customers and for the less health-inclined, vending machines are spotted around the setting as well, with varied choices of sodas and teas to buy. For more shops, there are several stairs leading to the Underground Mall that is located inside the station.

Nothing too special about the platforms. They are rather normal and there is not much to keep one occupied while they wait for the train.

Additional Links: square 1 2, lottery, tenkyu building accessway , general reference 1 2

Summary: A rapid transit service that serves the city of Chicago.

Full Details: The Chicago L (or just the L for short) is -- well, like it says on the tin, a rapid transit service serving Chicago. Broken into two distinct lines, the Red Line and Blue Line, the train covers a total of 23 stations across the whole of Chicago's districts, on an elevated track above street level. Stations are generally reachable via a flight of stairs that lead up to the platform from street level, the one notable exception to this rule being Paulson Station, in Parker Square, that sits where the tracks run parallel to the highway, and in that case, the stairs lead down to the platform, instead. The trains themselves have no conductors, automated by the city operating system, ctOS.

Additional Links: Platform | train exterior | train interior

Other: While I'm suggesting this as a means of making the parts of the setting Damien can't get to at the moment accessible, I know that Seto Kaiba's mun is working on an in character solution for that, too, in the form of walkways. I'm not necessarily trying to steal their thunder or render their idea a moot point -- instead, I figure maybe this can play into that? Like having a station at Wall Market, where the construction is happening, and have it connect to the walkway, maybe. Just a thought.

Otherwise, spooky subway! Spooky subway!

Summary: "Evolution" is a process in which wildlife may permanently change into a different, more powerful form when the right conditions are met.

Full Details: The "right conditions" for evolution are usually obtaining enough power/experience, but other common conditions also include or are influenced by: time of day, location, exposure to certain objects, or certain emotions such as happiness or friendship. The new form will always be more powerful than the old form, but this power may sometimes manifest in different ways, such as a fast but weak creature becoming a strong but slow creature. The new form may also gain new abilities, sometimes at the expense of old ones. The new form will usually be larger than the old form, and will usually resemble the old form, but this is not always the case.

Additional Links: Bulbapedia page on evolution

Other: I suggest that evolution only be applied to wildlife, not player characters, unless that character has a similar mechanic in their canon or previous game that applies to them. The point of this concept is not to turn Tabula Rasa into another "your character slowly turns into a monster" game.

I can also see this as another option to incorporate similar species imprints without editing what's already there or creating redundancies. Let's say there's already a cow-like creature in-game, and someone imprints a Space Cow. Now the Space Cow can become part of an evolution or pre-evolution of the old cow.

But yeah, I saw your thing on the FAQ about how concepts should focus on what we want accomplished instead of the exact details on how it works, and I hope this accomplishes that? I just want the animals (or heck, plants/fungi/etc too if it's appropriate) to "evolve" similar to how Pokemon do.

Summary: The concept of capturing and storing living beings inside an object called a "Pokéball" to be released or recalled by the object's owner.

Full Details: In the Pokémon world, trainers utilize a capsule called a Pokéball to make it easier to travel with their creatures. Since many Pokémon are quite large, are aquatic, etc., Pokéballs allow trainers to keep up to six Pokémon with their person at a time even in less than ideal conditions. Pokéballs have historically been made from fruits called Apricorns or even stone, but in modern times are electronic devices seemingly made from plastic and/or metal.

While inside a Pokéball, Pokémon enjoy "ideal conditions" to keep them comfortable; what this means is never specified, but could be a virtual reality environment. Pokémon are free to leave and re-enter their balls if they wish and are not totally unable to escape from them when closed; Pokéballs seem to keep track of the Pokémon living in them by some manner of electronic signature (which also prevents other trainers from catching an owned Pokémon). Pokémon seem to have a limited awareness of their surroundings while inside a ball. If a Pokéball is broken, the Pokémon inside will be automatically ejected and unable to be recalled until the ball is repaired.

Pokéballs capture a new Pokémon by making contact with a wild, unmarked creature and converting them into energy before drawing them inside. If the Pokémon is too weak or unwilling to break the ball's hold, they are considered "captured" and are marked by the ball, allowing it to be used to recall them in the future.

Additional Links: Bulbapedia page on Pokéballs, while we're at it!

Other: Ideally Pokéballs would end up both functioning both for the existing trainers and their Pokémon within them, as well as to use new balls to capture the "native" species of the void; but the former (being able to send out and recall trainer Pokémon) is the main intent for this regain, so I understand if capturing is too much for now!

Summary: The world is filled with energy that is produced by and sustains life.

Full Details: This is basically the concept of ether/mana/whatever you call it that's the basis of magic in Merlin's canon (and a lot of others, too, when you get down to it). It's produced naturally both in a large scale by the world itself, which could be considered an 'entity' in its own right, as well as in a small scale by living people, animals, etc. Large concentrations of it tend to flow in leylines, and it's known to easily dissolve into some substances such as bodily fluids. Hence why blood is so potent in magical rituals. It's tightly linked with the concept of life, in that the world only produces it while 'alive', and a dead world would presumably be unable to sustain normal life.

That said, it's also notably the power drawn upon to perform feats of magic/magecraft, though as I suspect that may require a second imprint to properly implement I won't go into the mechanics for now! (Though if I'm wrong on that point let me know and I'll write something up.)

Additional Links: Fanwiki entry if you want to wade through a lot of obtuse tl;dr on the topic. See also here for a blurb on "True Ether" and "Grain" for two more variants of it to give an idea of the interconnectedness between "magical energy" and life.

Other: Merlin's canon uses uh, a lot of different names for this stuff. Technically every name means something slightly different ("mana" for the untapped ambient energy in the atmosphere, "od" for that within an individual person, etc) but it's basically like how "nimbus" and "cumulus" are names for different kinds of clouds. If you're going for the very broad concept of "cloud" in general, the fine distinctions are a bit meaningless! With that said, I would suggest using either "mana" and/or "ether" as the name of the concept, if one is needed.

Summary: A robot the size and shape of a chicken, that lays batteries instead of eggs.

Full Details: These robots were clearly modeled after chickens. They also act like chickens for the most part, walking around and pecking at the ground. However, they are much more docile than chickens, even passive; they do not fight back against threats, or even run away, but ignore them entirely even if they're being slaughtered. They lay batteries, specifically AA batteries, like a chicken lays eggs. They can be "slaughtered"/"butchered" for various electrical/electronic/robotic parts, such as AA batteries, copper wire, RAM, and circuit boards.

Additional Links: Robot chicken on the Starbound Wiki (A lot of pages are outdated, but it works for most of the general ideas.)

Other: Hoping the robot chicken could be incorporated into a possible evolution of the Chicken Nug? A naked chicken-thing turning into some kind of robotic chicken-thing seems like a logical course of Mon-style "evolution" to me, perhaps with the trigger (if you need one) for evolution being when it eats a piece of metal?

Otherwise, yeah. Docile robotic chicken that lays batteries. Could come in handy, especially the "lays batteries" part!

The bird is depicted in imagery alongside The Daughter, who resurrected Ahsoka at the cost of her life. The convor, Morai, joins her here now, observant as ever as she takes the next steps in her self-discovery.

Other: I'm on hiatus during the dream event, but I was wondering if I could introduce Morai through it? My idea is Ahsoka has a dream of the convor, though not one she will remember, and when she wakes up it arrives mysteriously to this world. The convor never displays any powers and only appears to observe Ahsoka, connected to her through their shared bond with The Daughter.

Description: A titanium briefcase filled with every duel monsters card imaginable (Except for the Egyptian god cards, the Atlantean dragons, the Seal of the Orichalcos, cards that haven't been released yet, etc.). The briefcase itself is silver in color, reinforced on the edges with innumerable rivets, with a jet black handle, and it has canonly been shown to be able to deflect bullets (Presumably of a low caliber, but still worth noting). Made out of a highly durable material it is likely to be fire & water resistant if not proof. Considering that he values his cards above most all else, he wouldn't have skimped on the container for them.

Inside there are rows upon rows of cards, everything from spells, traps, and monsters for all your deck building/card trading needs. The face side of the card shows off the artwork and descriptions for each, while the back is the same swirl-patterned design throughout. There's never been a full itemized list for the contents but considering what a perfectionist and avid collector he is, it is likely as close to a complete collection as you can get. Whenever the case has been openly displayed the onlookers have been highly impressed and that is merely from seeing the top layers.

Summary: Elfroot, a common plant with many medicinal properties.

Full Details: Elfroot is a spindly wild plant with a vine-like stem and sizable leaves with three pointed lobes. It grows a couple of feet or so in height, and like a hardy weed it can easily grow just about anywhere it can take root, even in colder temperatures. So while it can be found growing alone, it's not uncommon to find a few clustered together. If harvested without removing the roots, the plant grows back pretty quickly. Elfroot is the primary ingredient for most healing potions, and is also used in lyrium potions and a variety of other restorative or buffing potions. The plant itself can be used medicinally without much preparation; rubbing the juice of the plant on a wound speeds up healing and numbs pain, and chewing on a piece of it can treat most minor ailments, including but not limited to indigestion, coughs, and sore throats.

Summary: An ancient high-tech library filled with information on an extinct race of sentient machines that exists in a timeless pocket dimension

Full Details: The library's entrance is located within a deep, round shaft, ending at a shallow pool of water at the very bottom. On each side of the giant door is a decorative statue that maybe looks like some kind of head with eyes. Brightly glowing blue lines run down the length of the door in a pattern, leading up to a large glowing circle at the top. It's more of a spooky slab than a door, but it does open even if there's no obvious or easy way to do so.

The inside of the library is a completely round room, with all available walls covered in shelves upon shelves of "books" (they are more like holographic scifi touchpads, but they're basically just books). At the very top of the room is a large glowing crystal sphere, partially embedded in the ceiling and connected to a number of thick cables that lead into the walls. This glowing sphere is the library's central core and "brain", as the library also doubles as a giant teleporter and time machine. At the center of the floor is a round tile with a symbol on it that glows brightly when the teleportation functions are in use. All of the books are plugged into the shelves to create a database, allowing anyone with direct access to freely search through every single book in the library with ease. Normally, the library's search functions and teleporter would be operated by its supervisor drone, but since that robot is dead (RIP) there's no terminal for a regular person to access anything with.

The topics covered in the library's books are primarily on the history and application of Nasod technology—crystal-powered machines invented by one Adrian Nasod that attained sentience, sparking a massive war over resources against humans and other natural races. Many of the books were made by anti-Nasod organizations and contain specific information on weaponizing and destroying Nasod machines. There are also a number of books on other useful scientific topics, mostly things that are at least tangentially related to building, destroying or understanding machines.

Notably, entire library's contents also serve as the teleporter's fuel—using the teleporter function to travel through time or space will cause portions of the physical structure to collapse, destroying parts of its own database. Don't ask me why anyone would design a self-destroying library teleporter in the first place.

It's also implied that there are other rooms to the library (Add somehow lives here for like 5-ish years and he's able to acquire food/water, an outfit change, a desk, and supplies to build himself some cool robot weapons), but since we never see it and it's never expanded on I'm only mentioning it here as a possible way to connect other areas to the library. Machine parts or broken robots are likely to be laying around in there somewhere, though.

Additional Links: entrance | inside 1 | inside 2

Other: please give us books that aren't leo's music void-chan........ give us DRY SCIENCE TEXTBOOKS, YEAH!! (or maybe just books on machines, books on the void's shitty science, w/e)

also I should probably note, the real library (before it got destroyed) was "inherited" by Add and supervised by the original Dynamo, so basically he was the only one who had full access to all of its functions. I don't expect that to apply to it in TR but!! idk maybe you can come up with a cool idea related to that.

Summary: An ancient stone shrine stands atop an oceanside cliff, with red hibiscus flowers growing all around.

Full Details: A set of stairs carved into the side of the cliff lead to the shrine from the beach below, and red hibiscus flowers grow around the shrine, up to the edge of the cliff. The shrine itself is a simple stone circle, with seven pillars (that don't support anything, the shrine has no roof) around the outside and an altar in the center. The altar has three small stands on the inside, suitable to place three baseball-sized objects on, and the pillars resonate with the seven musical notes.

A stone tablet above the altar reads: "Disturb Not the Harmony of Fire, Ice, (and/or) Lightning/Lest these Titans wreak Destruction upon the World in which they Clash/Though the (Water's/Waters') Great Guardian shall Arise to Quell the Fighting/Alone its Song will Fail/Thus the Earth shall Turn to Ash/O, Chosen One, into thine Hands bring Together all Three/Their Treasures combined Tame the Beast of the Sea." There is more writing on the floor of the shrine, written in concentric circles.

When the three treasures of Fire, Ice, and Lightning are placed within the altar, the shrine enters its "active state". Warm, glowing green water flows from the altar, pooling in grooves along the shrine floor that lead it to the seven pillars. The glowing water turns the pillars into blue crystal, and causes them to also glow green when resonating with musical notes.

A talking Slowking makes its home here, as caretaker to the shrine and guide to visitors (if it chooses to reveal itself to them).

Other: I'm not sure if the prophecy is too long to not descend into gibberish, it's only 63 words, so I think it's within the "a few sentences" limit? I've also noted ambiguities with my preferred version in bold. According to Bulbapedia, Shamouti is on the same meridian as Mt. Silver, and I have no reason to doubt that; I thought that might be worth mentioning since we have a Mt. Silver here.

I also think it'd be neat if the shrine could be brought in in its "active state", whether or not the three treasures are included in the imprint, just because it's prettier and more impressive. The void could always use more pretty scenery!

Me and Melinoe's player would like Shamouti Shrine and Erechtheion Temple to be combined, if possible! We think they'd go good together. She's got most of the ideas on how that might be done, so I'll let her present them.

Imprint Type: Scenery ; the Erechtheion Temple (or even just the south Porch of the Maidens).
Regain?: No
Influence: AC Total

Summary: An ancient temple created out of marble from the nearby mountain with a porch held aloft by six marble maidens.

Full Details: The area around the Erechtheion was considered the most sacred of the Acropolis. The Erechtheion was a complex marble building in the Ionic order, an exceptional artwork. The eastern part of the Temple was dedicated to Athena, whilst the western part was dedicated to local hero Boutes, Hephaistos and other gods and heroes. Thus, the Erechtheion was a temple with multiple functions, housing older and newer cults, and the site of the ‘Sacred Tokens’, the marks made by Poseidon’s trident and the olive tree, the gift of Athena to the city of Athens.

The building had two porches. The roof of the north porch was supported on six Ionic columns, while below its floor the Athenians pointed at the mark of the thunderbolt sent by Zeus to kill the legendary King Erechteus. At the south porch (also referred to as Porch of the Maidens), which was the most well-known, the roof was supported by six statues of maidens known as the Caryatids, instead of the typical columns. Below it stood the grave of Kekrops, another legendary King of Athens. A building inscription of the Erechtheion refers to the Caryatids simply as Korai (maidens), while the name Caryatids was assigned at a later time.

Each woman wears the peplos and himation and has a bent leg. Although of the same height and build, and similarly attired and coiffed, the six Caryatids are not the same: their faces, stance, draping, and hair are carved separately; the three on the left stand on their right foot, while the three on the right stand on their left foot. Their bulky, intricately arranged hairstyles serve the crucial purpose of providing static support to their necks, which would otherwise be the thinnest and structurally weakest part. This suggests they were all carved in the same workshop. The arms are unfortunately missing, but Roman copies show them holding vessels of libations or offerings.

Several interpretations about the Caryatids have been put forth. The most convincing one supports the view that they constituted the visible portion of the grave of Kekrops and were the choephoroi who paid tribute to the glorious dead. The word Caryatid comes from karyatides meaning maidens of Karyai, an ancient town in the Peloponnese. The women were said to dance with baskets on their heads in honor of Artemis. The main building and the north porch were surrounded by a continuous Ionic frieze decorated with images of gods, heroes and mortals, in scenes related to the ancient cults of the Erechtheion.

  • The Korai/maidens replace the pillars of the shrine. Seventh could be a Slowking? Or just another maiden, mods’ choice.
  • Middle altar remains the same.
  • Since the temple was (in part) to Poseidon, and the shrine is part of the Legendary/Chosen One islands (Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos), Imprint could be on or near water.
  • Since the temple was (in part) to Athena, and for Zapdos, some type of apple could grow here, but they only show up after thunderstorms. Could be golden apples? Yellow hue for Zapdos, name and color to represent the actual Golden Apple from the mythological contest.
  • The Pegagirafes frequent this area (Athena helped Perseus reference).
  • Since hibiscus flowers grow around the shrine, and said flower derives its name from the Greek word ἰβίσκος (ibískos), the flower could also grow at the Imprint?
  • Perhaps the Maidens outfits could be painted in a Legendary birbs colour scheme? Two for each birb? Like these women.
OR in shades of pink, to reference the Slowpoke who resides at the shrine.
AND/OR they totally have Slowking crowns on their heads.

    - I figure that, as my AC will bring in 10 points regardless and leave me the 40 points for a major concept regain in the next month or so, this small regain can be a logical step in the progress as she becomes more intuned with her spiritual presence while here.

I don't really want the robes to confer power but the fact that they are a reflection of her belief in her powers, and a visible element of her being a spirit can be a good IC tool in helping others believe in her, which can lead more naturally towards a Concept Imprint.
