Game Rules The Golden Rule
The Golden Rule is the principle of treating others as you want to be treated. What this boils down to is: be nice to your fellow players and your moderators, because we're all here to have fun. Blurring of the IC/OOC line, infomodding and godmodding will not be tolerated, and we expect players to respect boundaries and properly warn for any potentially sensitive topics in threads.

If you have an issue with another player, please try to communicate with them first to resolve the issue on your own whenever possible. If an agreement cannot be met or if you cannot put your OOC feelings aside for an IC issue, you can always step away from any thread that makes you uncomfortable. We'll also be here to help if you have a problem that can't be solved by direct communication, or if you're unsure of how to handle a delicate situation.

While we would like to give every player the benefit of the doubt, we value the comfort and safety of our players and will not tolerate toxic behavior. If we feel a player is creating a toxic environment within the game that cannot otherwise be resolved, we reserve the right to have that player removed.

Stay In-Character
Pretty self-explanatory! As with any game, a setting will offer something new and different for a character to interact with, and they may find themselves experiencing things that can change them. Character development is encouraged, but keep in mind who your character is at their core as they grow.

Be Active
Please follow the activity rules laid out for the game. With game caps in place, we want to make sure that players who wish to be involved with the game get that chance to. We'll be very much willing to work with players who approach us about issues with their activity.

NSFW Content
Tabula Rasa is a game open to players and characters of all ages. Rather than keeping track of player and character ages and policing who is or is not allowed to play out sexual content on the comms, we have decided not to allow it at all. As such, please do not post any explicit sexual content on any of the game's communities. You're welcome to "fade to black" or post this content on your own journals.

Other NSFW content, such as excessive violence or gore, should be put behind a cut with a warning. We expect our players to be respectful towards each other when it comes to warnings and mature content.
