Organic Imprints

Organic imprints do not cost any influence from the player, but are chosen by mod discretion only. Most organic imprints will be based on character conversations, debates and actions. Conscious attempts to alter the setting’s understanding of something will usually fail initially, but may succeed with persistence. If a particular idea is being explored by a large number of characters, it is also more likely to be picked up as an organic imprint. We may also implement organic changes based on threads that are not submitted to this page. However, we are not omniscient, so we highly recommend submitting something here if you want to make sure we see it.
Interactions that should be submitted here include:
- conversations about characters' understanding of certain concepts
- attempts to explain details of the world and how it functions
- experiments or interactions that test the world's understanding of certain concepts
- direct attempts to force the world to understand something, such as by repeating the same action over and over again until the "correct" result is achieved
For detailed information on what imprints are, the different categories of imprints, regains, and so on, please see the section for Influence & Imprints on the FAQ.
Submission Form
To submit a thread as consideration for organic imprints, leave a comment filling out the form below. You may also respond to submissions left by other players if your character is exploring the same idea as them.
To help us find the relevant part of the thread, we ask that you link to the point in the thread where the topic is discussed.

Thread description: Upon explaining what a selfie is to Kimihiro, Raihan declares that well-crafted selfies are high art and should be admired as such.
