the pokémon cast and i were going over the state of the world page and upon review of the species section, the following question came up: will the pokémon that come in with the characters be capable of sapience? in canon pokémon can understand human speech, have their own individual thoughts and personalities, etc., however the trainers' pokémon are technically coming into the game as items so we were wondering if this will have any impact on how their pokémon are able to behave in the game?
